Bracken County Clerk

Thank you for visiting the Bracken Co. Clerk’s Office Website. Here at the Bracken Co. Clerk’s office we have many responsibilities such as, Motor Vehicle Licensing, County Elections, Yearly Delinquent Taxes, Marriage License, and all County Records.  Here at the Clerk’s office we stride to distribute professional and courteous manners to the public in which keeps our office running on a daily basis.

The Bracken Co. Clerk’s office is located in the Old Historic Bracken Co. Courthouse.  The most convenient way to access the Clerk’s office is to park on the side of the courthouse with the post office.  Once you walk into the courthouse the clerk’s office will be the first door on your left.

Branch Office 

To help better serve customers in the Northern part of Bracken Co. we have established a branch office centrally located in the Augusta City Office. The branch office is open on Fridays from 9am-4pm. To access the office enter the door closest to the fire department.

 

Rae Jean Poe-Bracken Co. Clerk

I, Rae Jean Poe, was elected into office in November 2002.  I started as County Clerk in January of 2003. I would also like to thank all of the citizens of Bracken Co. for trusting me and keeping me in office since 2003.  Thank You.
